House builder Persimmon Homes has confirmed that it is set to review its advertising account, currently held by Brass.

The client has confirmed that it will hold a pitch this week, although it is understood that both the PR account, held by Golley Slater and its digital account, held by Fuse8, will remain in place.

In recent months Fuse8 has been working with the client on developing its digital platforms, having picked up the contract to develop the Charles Church website, and recently launching a new website for the main Persimmon Homes brand.

It is thought that the incumbent will pitch against Fuse8 for its advertising with EMO and TC Communications also down to the final four for the multi-million pound marketing contract.

I suppose EMO will trolley out the old 'data driven' marketing strategy and portal led adbuilder route, yet to hear a client actually say it has actually driven more cost effective sales. House builders are one of the few market sectors where good old fashioned local press coupled with tangible consumer offers and a quality product works (not to forget location, location, location darling).

The words 'quality product' and 'Persimmon' don't really go together

anon 9.49 I said House builders as an umbrella statement rather than 'Persimmon' which as you quite rightly say, don't fall into the quality product, I know having purchased one in my youth, school boy error, won't do that again!
