The annual communications and PR forum run by Richmond Events, The Communication Director’s Forum, is to move from its traditional Spring slot to later in the year and run alongside The Marketing Forum.

The two events will become more closely run by Richmond Events, although they will continue to be organised and run separately.

Kirsty MacMillan, CDF project manager, explained:  “The Marketing Forum and The Communication Directors’ Forum will still exist as separate entities but, by running them at the same time, we can take advantage of the natural synergies that exist within PR, communications and marketing, allowing us to promote some serious cross fertilisation and thought leadership.”

David Clark, Project Manager for The Marketing Forum, added: “Time and budget run at a very high premium for our customers, so by bringing together these two events we can offer a much larger and more varied pool of people to meet and share ideas with.”

The two forums will take place for the first time on board the Aurora on 12-15 October 2011.
