Hygiene system supplier Chemex International has chosen a newly launched graduate start-up web design business to redesign its web sites and digital marketing.

Studio Bonito, which was formed in August by recent graduates Steve Heyes and Chris de Souza, was chosen through BSEEN (the Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employability Network), over more established online agencies.

Michael Graham, managing director for Chemex, said: “Chris and Steve impressed us with their knowledge and their passion for design, they had some incredibly fresh ideas and a very novel approach. I’m sure the results will benefit Chemex as a business once we launch the new website and I think Studio Bonito is a name to watch.”

Chris de Souza commented “We are thrilled to have been awarded such a prestigious contract from such a large and well-established business. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with them and we hope this will help us establish our name with other major businesses locally. Birmingham is fast becoming the digital centre of the UK and we hope to be able to contribute to that growth.”
