Ahead of World Usability Day on 11 November, usability consultancy Bunnyfoot has partnered with Edinburgh charity The Craigmillar Arts and Environments Project to issue a design challenge to school pupils to improve communication within their school.

The project is being run to highlight the theme of this year’s World Usability Day, 'Communication', and sees two teams of primary six and seven pupils from Niddrie Mill and Royal Mile Primary schools tasked with creating a product or process which improves communication within the schools, with the support of Bunnyfoot’s research facilities.

The first stage of the project has been completed with each team having designed their communications tools and now the pupils are set to present their ideas on World Usability Day to a panel of industry professionals.

Kevin White from Bunnyfoot commented: “We’re really excited about this project, the pupils are really engaged with the concept of good design and have already generated some amazing ideas.”

The progress of the pupils is being reported on Bunnyfoot's blog.
