Gifford returns to Scotland following six months in NY as StarworksHoss Gifford, director of digital innovation for Starworks has stepped down from the role having returned to his native Scotland.
Gifford has spent the last six months working in the position in the New York office of Star Works, following its takeover of Marque at the end of 2009.
Gifford has returned to Glasgow to embark on a freelance career as a digital strategist and developer while laying the ground work for a new start-up company next year, specialising in mobile.
Despite this, he has taken up a new position with Starworks, working in the role of non-executive director.
Gifford is also set to be one of three speakers at an upcoming MiNetwork event in Edinburgh in December discussing app development and how they can be be utilised by companies to promote their brands.
