Shopping centre Liverpool One has launched its Christmas TV campaign created by McCann Erickson Manchester. Watch it here.
The ad aims to "regenerate interest" in the centre and encourage shoppers in the north west to visit in the lead up to the crucial festive trading season.
The regional TV campaign broke in the north west last night during ITV1's tribute to Coronation Street's Jack Duckworth.
A schedule of 57 30-second spots will run until the end of November across a range of peak time programmes, including the Paul O’Grady show and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Other media includes radio, regional cover wraps, quality press inserts and door to door. Media buying has been handled by MediaVest.
Dave Donaghue, managing partner at McCann Manchester, said: "Liverpool ONE offers everything you need to live a more stylish life. It has this magnetic and magical attraction, and the ads capture the spirit of this. This is perfect for the Christmas Campaign.”
The Drum revealed McCann's appointment in September. Liverpool One will retain its 'Life Styled' campaign theme into next year.

Shame that couldn't happen to the whole of Liverpool.
The Santa makeover is a great idea. Nice one McCanns (yawn, no I don't work there).
McCanns 1 - 0 BJL
I know it's childish but every time I see the name BJL - I just think it's an accronym for Blow Job Lips
Debenhams.

Quite like it as far as shopping centre ads go. Music reminds me of The Apprentice.
How rude to compare the BJL ad to this one - two different briefs, they are not like for like. I like both equally...

In my humble opinion, that's a really nice line.
Father Christmas with a man bag. Modern.
