Manchester studio four23 has shot a web video and created press and instore ads to launch the new 'mi adidas' football boots endorsed by Steven Gerrard.
The video, which four23 filmed with Gerrard on site at Anfield, is being hosted on Liverpool FC's official Facebook page and the aim is for it to go viral.
Photographer Hamish Brown was commissioned to shoot the Liverpool captain and his customed 'Predator' boots for the advertising creative.

one of the worst press ads i've ever seen adidas do!
You've as much chance of this going viral as Liverpool have of winning the premiership.
And crap ad btw.
It's really not good is it? Gerrard's comments on colour etc are dull and uninspired, as is the direction. And to the person who described this as 'nice', you need to take a long, hard look at yourself my friend.
Is this the same Adidas that make those nice press and television advertisements?
Or is it this adidas.... http://declubz.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/chinese-copies.jpg
I think the latter.
"My boot..My design..My £1.5m fee
Is he meant to look a little...simple?
14:36 - no, it comes naturally with 'ar Steeeeevie, like.'
Not that I want to hear Stevie ramble on, but the audio on this is poor. Sounds like he's in a wardrobe.

The art direction on that poster (is it a poster?) is bloody terrible too, like a bad collage. The shot doesn't fit with the background, the type's bad, the funny chevron things don't work - it doesn't hold together at all. And why 'mi'? Is it supposed to be in a scouse accent?
