The corporate website of the Scottish Government is set to undergo a redesign by CIVIC.

The new site will introduce a focus on the ensuring that the homepage and news sections are up-to-date, using effective design and technology, and will aim to help the Government engage with the public and encourage greater participation and feedback.

This will include the use of social media and video on the site to improve its reach.

Greig Tosh, managing director of CIVIC, commented: “This is a great opportunity to cement Scotland.gov.uk’s reputation as a world class Government website, by creating the best possible user experience with our award winning design capabilities and the use of modern techniques grounded by our best practice principles.”
