Facebook’s recently published profile update has unleashed a wave of creativity on the social network with people pimping up their profiles to wow friends and family.

The reface me hack allows users to align their top 5 most recently tagged photo into a visual snap that’s greater than the sum of its parts.

Principally this sees users construct a slider puzzle visage of their mugs peering out from behind the screen, an arresting effect but one which is blunted by its increasing pervasiveness.

Others are adopting more individual approaches to the trick, from landing a knockout punch to an annoying friend to devouring a tasty slice of wide screen cake. We present some of the best here for inspiration.
