Shoe brand Clarks Originals is launching its first ever international campaign next month to promote its spring/summer 2011 range.
The campaign, which focuses on the brand's musical heritage, will run in Clarks stores around the world, in wholesalers including Schuh and online.
"Our shoes have been on the feet of musicians (and music fans) for decades and it is time we communicate the passion we have for music," said marketing manager Gemma Green.
The campaign was created by retail brand agency Yellowdoor. Its artwork features London-born musician Josh Beech, who was styled for the shoot by Love Magazine's senior fashion editor, Anders Thomsen.
In a further musical link, Clarks Originals has teamed up with The Strummerville Foundation, the charity formed in memory of the late Clash frontman Joe Strummer, to make a donation of £2 for every pair it sells from its Festival Classics range.
