AG Barr is set to launch a £2 million rebranding exercise as it re-brands Diet Irn-Bru.

The Drink’s maker will now launch sugar free Irn-Bru through a television campaign from The Leith Agency, beginning on Valentine’s Day.

Roger White, chief executive of AG Barr claimed that the use of the term ‘diet’ in the name was ‘historical’ and that the company wanted more people to realise that the drink was sugar free.

Sales of the company’s soft drink range in pubs across England are also on the rise, he commented.
