The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) has appointed Mairi Clark as its senior PR and marketing manager.

Clark has been tasked with extending the marketing communications within the organisation, while also heading up its dedicated social media council.

Clark, who has worked for media titles Campaign, Adline, The Drum and Revolution magazine, has also worked as a consultant for online and offline companies, working on their content and digital strategies, as well as advising on social media.

She replaces Amy Kean who has joined Havas Media last week after six years with the IAB.

“I’m delighted to join the IAB at such an exciting time for the digital industry. As social media enters into a ‘grown-up’ phase, I look forward to being part of the self-regulatory process and continuing the IAB’s objectives of growing the online advertising market,” commented Clark.
