Our Favourite YouTube Video of the week: starring a drunk Glaswegian

Our video of the week: an old man filmed in Glasgow so ‘wasted’ he did not realise he was going up the escalator the wrong way.

YouTube proves again that real-life can be more amusing than fiction. This chap was filmed attempting to leave a low-level station in central Glasgow by going up the down escalator.

Amongst the YouTube comments, one could even find the odd philosophical gem: “I seen (sic) him! I only took a picture but. This was one of the funniest things I've seen. I told him he was going the wrong way and he replied "NAW HEN AM GOIN MA WAY"

Surely a potential script for a yet unmade commercial.
