Speculation suggests that high street bakers Greggs is set to appoint acting customer and marketing director Lindsay Howard into the role on a permanent basis.

Howard, the founding director of Boutique Holidays, is expected to take on the position permanently, having spent two months with the company since the departure of Scott Jefferson to Pets at Home in November.

Howard has also served as the marketing director for Little Chef, Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, O’Neil’s Pubs and was the interim head of marketing for Boots for a short period last year.

A spokesperson for Greggs said that the recruitment process was still ongoing and that no decision had been made at present.

The brand currently works with Gratterpalm on its marketing communications and Euro RSCG PR UK  for its PR.
