Christian themed Easter eggs go on sale

Morrison’s, Waitrose, Co-op and Boots have agreed to stock a new brand of chocolate egg to flog Christianity to secular chocolate lovers.

It will be the UK’s first Fairtrade Easter egg to mention Jesus on the box instead of the usual fluffy bunnies and cartoons and all profits will go to charity.

The tasty preaching tool has been designed by the Meaningful Chocolate Company and is designed to drag children and parents from the supermarket aisle to the church aisle.

Not everyone is enamoured with the sweet treats however with Britain’s unholy triumvirate of supermarkets, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda, refusing to stock the sweets.

Great - swap the fairy tale of the Easter bunny for another myth.
