Morgan Sindall, Mersey Maritime and Spire Hospital were three of companies to hire Paver Smith LLP in the last three months, worth nearly £300,000 in total.

Despite this, the Liverpool and Manchester PR agency, which also works with retained clients such as Grant Thornton, Shell and food service giant SSP, has claimed that the rest of the year still looks ‘choppy’.

Said managing partner Jon Brown (pictured): “We’re a bell-weather for the wider economy and there’s clearly an upturn in confidence, but it’s not universal.”

He continued: “Our client base remains diverse and we’ve re-balanced it a little during the last six months.  The key challenge ahead will be around how we maximise new revenue streams from emerging social media technologies.”
