Starbucks begins to roll out new identity

Starbucks has today finally taken the wraps off its new branding in stores around the world.

The coffee chain has unveiled its new look in London (main picture) Paris, New York, Seattle and Beijing.

The 'siren' logo is part of a refreshed identity that will be noticeable on store signage, mugs and takeaway cups.

It has now been officially launched to mark the company's 40th anniversary.

How much money has that cost them is what i'd like to know.
If a brand refresh is not significantly different and doesn't somehow alter or evolve brand perception, then honestly what is the point? Losing the name from the logo and exchanging black for on-brand green does nothing. Save your money in these dark times people!
