The neighbourhood being build around The Co-operative Group’s old-and-new headquarters is set to undergo a branding exercise from the company.
The £800 million development in Manchester will be branded as NOMA, which the managing director of The Co-operative Estates, Martyn Hulme, has described as being ;a city district like no other’.
Included in the development will be 1.5m sq ft of Grade A office space, including a multistory 400,000 sq ft office building and 500,000 sq ft of leisure and retail space.
The CIS Tower is expected to be retained and will be used as the Co-operative Financial Services headquarters.

Did someone sneeze a few times whilst typing this one up?
Are the Co-op still obliterating Angel Meadows, one of the last green spaces in Manchester city centre to build this? Maybe they'll astro-turf some of the leisure and retail space when it's laid empty for a few years and let the public use that. You know, as they are ethical 'n that.
Rubbish name too.
I think someone should politely explain to them that NOMA is, in fact, a gangrenous infection, normally found on the face. Perhaps should have conducted a simple google search before publicising that one.
