The Scottish Government has appointed The Leith Agency to handle its marketing cluster for Community, Equality and Public Health (CEPH).

The cluster includes the Seasonal Flu campaign, previously held by The Leith Agency, as well as a wide range of other public information and behaviour change campaigns around health.

Gillian Govan, chief marketing office at the Scottish Government, described The Leith Agency’s proposal during the tender stage as ‘exceptional’.

“It showed excellent insight and understanding of the need to help Scots sustain and improve their health, especially within disadvantaged communities, while ensuring better, local and faster services to health care,” she added.
The budget for the cluster during the current financial year could be as much as £2 million, covering media, production, creative and other costs.

Richard Marsham, managing partner of the Leith Agency, commented: “Our team really enjoy working on Scottish Government’s campaigns which always bring new challenges to our strategists and creatives. We’re looking forward to getting started and delivering tangible results on these vital campaigns".
