The Gloucestershire Chamber of Commerce has been working with Sperm Creative on its new brand identity.

The new look is designed to give the chamber a more modern image and to do away with the perception that it is an "old fashioned" organisation.

Sperm said: "We have created a distinctive graphic style that plays on the elements of the logo, lifting the brand to a visually more exciting place.

"We have used exceptionally paired down copy, and redefined some of the core thinking of the chamber."

The chamber will work with Sperm to apply the new look across multimedia, interior design, online and all printed communications.

So much of the work showcased on here is nothing more than bland mediocrity, but if your client is happy, and it pays the bills, then fine. No problem with that - at the end of the day it's about earning money.

However, don't try and pass it off in a press release as something it isn't.

It's the equivalent of telling a lady on a first date that you're hung like a Shetland pony, and then taking her back home and showing her that you're actually less well endowed than my little pony.

The end result is the same - lots of laughter and piss taking.
