The Scottish Government has tasked Edinburgh digital agencies Whitespace and Storm ID with developing a mobile strategy.
The £100,000 contract was appointed following a pitch across the Marketing Services Framework Contract digital roster, and see the two agencies appointed to develop a mobile strategy which will provide mobile services, such as mobile web and native mobile applications.
Roger Williams, head of marketing and new media of Scottish Government said: “Mobile access to the internet is forecast to surpass desktop internet use worldwide by 2014 and we need to respond to this trend in how we provide information.”
