Ear biting former boxing champ Mike Tyson is fronting a new video which aims to wean Angry Birds addicts as part of a publicity wheeze for his new Animal Planet show, Taking on Tyson.

The 40 sec clip presents a chirpy looking Tyson speak in uncharacteristically soothing tones of his “three easy steps” for curing a hapless geek’s addiction behind him.

Cutting to the chase however the boxer adopts his “one step” solution, smacking the geek’s iPad from his hands mid catapult.

The patented technique is also compatible with the iPad2 and iPhone.

Despite being labelled an animal himself by some Tyson is said to enjoy pigeon racing in his spare time and is currently attempting an image makeover from psychotic fighting machine to amiable family guy.
