The circulation decline of the Sunday Herald, owned by Newsquest Herald & Evening Times Group, continues according to the latest monthly ABC figures, with a decline of 28%.
Circulation figures for the Sunday Herald between the end of February and the beginning of April show that the newspaper has fallen to a figure of 31, 123, losing 11,810 sales within a year.
In February 2010 the title had a circulation figure of 42,933, a number that has declined ever since, as has its rival the Scotland on Sunday, although not as dramatically, falling from 58,554 to 56,466 during the same period.
The Sunday Herald was recently redesigned to take on a magazine format which was not instantly popular with many of its readers who complained that they were unable to share the different sections.
It was also revealed in the last ABC figures that the newspaper had recorded a decline of 21% in circulation.
This led editor Richard Walker to tell The Drum that the newspaper would continue in the same format, but that he understood concerns by his readership.
He followed this by introducing a football supplement at the end of March.
The Scotland on Sunday has also recently run a price campaign, dropping its cover price from £1.30 to £1.
