The Glasgow Housing Association is to establish a framework for companies to supply its print services.

The framework, set to include three companies, will be tasked with printing the organisation’s books, brochures and leaflets which are supplied as part of its management of around 52,000 tenanted homes across Glasgow.

The contract will include Your place, a factoring subsidiary of GHA which is responsible for 26,000 owner occupied flats.

Three lots will be created as part of the framework, each serviced by one successful applicant, with the total contract worth between £700,000 and £900,000.

Lot 1 will oversee core print services such as stationery, booklets and posters while Lot 2 will include storage and distribution of the materials. Lot 3 will see a company charged with handling on demand printing and distribution of items such as individualised billing and statements.

Each contract will run initially for three years, with a potential one year extension to be added.

Between six and 12 companies will tender for this framework with expressions of interest due by 3 June.
