Stage manager to the X Factor, Diccon Ramsay, is set to direct the television coverage of the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

According to The Sun, Ramsay will be the person responsible with signalling Middleton’s walk down the isle having been tasked with bringing the ‘same amount of gloss’ to the event as is seen within Simon Cowell’s Saturday night hit programme.

Stand ins for the Royal Family are currently being used to rehearse the wedding to allow the crew to practice shots, and ‘hideaway’ camera could even be placed in flowers on the alter.
