Woodbridge Tide Mill Trust has tasked creative agency Spring to help with design and communications around the restoration of the landmark.

During the year-long £.1.25m redevelopment project, the Suffolk creative agency will work with the Trust to create a new visitor centre and will also be involved in design, production, audio visual interactive programmes, and even toy cats.

Displays, exhibition boards, information leaflets and audio-visual aids will be created to highlight the history of the mill and convey information about the lives of the workers and the impact that it had on the local community.

Interactive models, computer generated graphics, games and puzzles will also be developed to create an interactive experience for visitors and demonstrate how the machinery operated.

The agency has already begun work with the Trust, with the re-opening scheduled to take place in early 2012.
