Congratulations to The Big Picture. A great bunch of creative people.

It was a great evening! Congratulations to all the nominee's & winners! :-)
Well done TBWA. Agency of the year. And 3 of BJLs are from a team at TBWA now. Heading in the right direction!
love the spelling of the lowerey for best copywriting.
looks like regional advertising is well and truly in the bronze age
not a classic year, but well done if you picked up a paperweight
I remember a couple of years ago TBWA poo poo'd the Roses and called them "depressing".
It's funny how aspirations change when you lose half your clients.
Anon 10:52. That exhibition BJL made up also got them the typography gold as well.
I've lost the will to live. help me.

You need an horse's head on your pillow. Satisfaction guaranteed.
It's good that BJL have credited that team for the work. NOT!
Its just so indicative of an industry that's so unrewarding to work in these days. Can you imagine surgeons getting awards for the best kidney transplant? No, because its rewarding in its own right, they don't need to enter piss poor awards to feel like they are doing a worthwhile job. Welcome to advertising outside London.
Anon 11.52....take it you won nowt?
Anon 12:24. Yes you are right, but the more agencies like karmarama for example that say fuck this crap lets just concentrate on our clients needs rather than our egos the better. And if you still really really want to enter awards try D&AD or Cannes.
Anon 11.08 That is a very good point.

Yeah, TBWA are really struggling. I bet they wish they could spend their time doing chip shop ads for made up exhibitions and restaurants in hotels, I imagine they'll be resigning the Coop account forthwith and spending their time trying to cut pieces of fruit into type in preparation for a bronze at next year's ceremony.
The Co-op work is ok. But let's be honest, without that account TBWA would have closed down the Manchester office. Such a shame.
Seriously, the Grand Prix is a pillowcase?!? The best piece of creative work outside London, all year is a scammy 30 year old joke pillowcase?
Hilarious!
Almost as good as its introduction on the night- "this proves that it doesn't have to be a big idea to be a good idea..."
Anyway, well done to all the winners, the pillowcase included.
Gotta laugh at the usual TBWA comments. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Well done TBWA, yes you've been through the mill, as have other Agencies, but you have once again proved there is skill and talent outside of the M25 - something which all provincial agencies should support and not knock.
Well done guys.
"The Co-op work is ok. But let's be honest, without that account TBWA would have closed down the Manchester office. Such a shame."
Take the biggest account out of any agency and they'd struggle, genius.
Excuse me nice Drum people? Could you post up all of the credits please? Some work lists them, some doesn't. Nice to see them all.
yeah Seems ridiculous that creatives enter the roses to get exposure then the drum don't list the credits
Seriously, come on guys and gals, lift the standard for next year. The standard of work this year makes a laughing stick of the regions.
What's a 'laughing stick'?
Anonymous is an anagram of 'U no noms, ay?'
TBWA wins something. Robert Hardwood Matthews will be issuing a global press release claiming the roses are the new one show.

I think The Raft were robbed!
comments
We were robbed last year too
Full credits please! This is plain lazy.
Are there any creative Agencies in Scotland apart for Family?
Anon 09:47
There are. But they don't enter these awards.
Why do Scottish agencies not enter - too much competion? I suppose they have a better chance of winning if they stick to The Scottish Advertising Awards. Quite sad really, and I'm Scottish.
Scottish agencies don't enter because there's no point. It does nothing for the agency or the creatives involved. The Scottish Advertising Awards do the same job.
