Five new members have joined the Radio Academy’s board of trustees, including Andy Carter, managing director of GMG North.

Carter will be joined on the board by Gloria Abramoff, MD of Tonic Productions; James Cridland, Radio Futurologist; Lisa Kerr from RadioCentre and Scott Taunton, CE of UTV.

Carter commented; “I’m really delighted to have been elected to the Board and equally excited at being part of a team which will play a role in creating a better future for the radio sector and those who work within it as we continue into a digital future.”
