Bath based special-interest media group, Future, has boosted its gaming portfolio’s online presence with a series of changes to two of its titles.

Edge Magazine, the group’s multi-platform video games brand has had both its website and magazine redesigned to better-serve the games development and publishing community along with high end gamers and deliver a smart, international print and web offering.

The group has also redesigned its flagship gaming news site CVG, with the aim of positioning itself at the centre of global gaming news and include more up-to-the-minute breaking news and quality content into a bigger, bolder and more accessible design.

“Edge is a sleeping giant. The team has delivered on the promise of the brand with a global, progressive product,” said James Binns, head of Edge International.

“The revitalised magazine is everything a modern magazine should be: beautiful, detailed and collectible. The new look website is slick, useful and fast - we’ll expand our audience and our relevance.” The relaunch issue, on sale on Thursday 9th June, is being exclusively revealed at E3 in Los Angeles on 7th June.
According to John Houlihan, editor in chief of CVG, the redesigned site showcases the progress CVG has made over the past 12 months and is the first stage of an ambitious new phase of expansion for the site.
says:

“This redesign sets CVG up for audience growth,” said Don Ditri, associate publisher of CVG.
“Our advertisers can target users all over the world by genre, platform or even individual game. Aligning our inventory with other Future sites like GamesRadar.com and PCGamer.com, and integrating a BrightCove video player will make it easier than ever to work with Future.”
