National tourism agency VisitBritain has appointed Joss Croft as head of marketing.

Croft has worked within VisitBritain previously as regional director for Europe, head of business visits and events and manager of strategic partnerships.

He has also previously worked in sales and marketing roles for Futuroscope Poitiers, Disneyland Paris and the London Tourist Board.

In his new post Croft will be helping the organisation prepare for its £100m public/private marketing drive over the next four years.

"Joss will be ensuring the marketing programme is relevant and compelling for consumers, delivers for our commercial partners and on the Government targets of 4 million additional inbound visitors spending £2 billion across Britain.," said director of marketing Laurence Bresh.
