MoD warns against careless talk on Facebook

Concerned officials at the Ministry of Defence have published a short public information film on YouTube to inform people of the risks of sharing sensitive information online.

Advising social media users to “think before you share” the MoD is urging all members of the armed forces – including their friends and families to be extra vigilant in what they choose to share.

Highlighting a Facebook chat between a mother and her son serving in Afghanistan the clip sees “Mark” breach security protocol by blabbing about an upcoming VIP event in a private message.

The error is soon compounded however but mum goes on to compound the problem by sharing the message with friends.

The danger inherent to such action is depicted with the oblivious mum sitting down on a sofa to natter away with a terrorist over tea and cake.

I thought it was, 'loose lips gets you on 'Embarrassing Bodies'. It did the other night anyway. Did anyone see it? It was horrendous.
