The digital team at Welcome to Yorkshire has been restructured following the departure of its head of digital Kristal Ireland to creative agency Propaganda.

The restructure sees the digital team join the marketing department, headed up by Vikki Harris, with Sean Murricane now managing all site content and Pete Wilson managing the technical development of Yorkshire.com.

The tourism body is also currently hunting for an SEO manager who will oversee link acquisition strategies and tie these in with social media campaigns, as well as other responsibilities, reporting to the marketing manager.

Ireland joined Leeds creative agency Propaganda this week as head of digital following the launch of its consultancy programme Digital Intelligence.
