New Media Age is apparently to go online-only too, according to the industry rumour-mill. The weekly title which is owned by Centaur which – according to earlier reports – is to make stable-mate Design Week online-only too.
Launched as a newsletter in 1995 it became a full blown magazine in 1998 and it widely seen as the market leader for the digital industries. The title is also behind the NMA Awards which were held last week.
Reports suggest the development will see NMA publisher Andy Oakes and editor-in-chief Michael Nutley leave the operation. However, the current editor Justin Pearse is to remain with the title.
On the Design Week front it is now thought that both editor Lynda Relph-Knight and publisher Jess McDermott face redundancy.
