GMG's Rea to become head of news for Global RadioJames Rea is to become head of news for Global Radio, joining from Guardian Media Group.
Rea, currently GMG’s deputy programme director, will become Global Radio’s group head of news following the departure of Jonathan Richards.
The role will see him also take on the role of managing editor of LBC, with responsibility for the news output of all of Global Radio’s stations as well as the day-to-day running of LBC 97.3 and LBC 1152.
