The Glasgow-based organiser of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the former editor of STV Local are the guest speakers at a recently-launched Scottish Press Club.

Paul Holleran and Iain Hepburn will speak tonight in Glasgow.

Hepburn has explained in his blog that he plans on discussing the future of journalism with the audience itself with the aim of generating debate amongst people 'who will actually shape the future of the business'.

The event is free to attend and is taking place at The Griffin on Bath Street, starting at 7.30pm.

The first meeting of the Scottish Press Club was held last month by Renfrewshire Gazette reporter Martin Graham, and a fellow recent journalism graduate, Cristiana Theodoli, from Glasgow Caledonian University.
