London Sperm Bank is putting the detail into donating by creating a dating agency style catalogue.

Men who donate to the bank are asked why they are doing so, while staff members submit their impression of the character of the donors.

The Daily Mail said one donor was described as “softly spoken, introspective, deep thinking” with a “neat, relaxed style”.

Sperm banks are not legally required to provide personal details about donors, but many provide a basic physical description and some other details such as occupation.

A spokesperson for London Sperm Bank said that the catalogue would mainly be advertised through the company’s social media platforms, particularly through Twitter and Facebook, where they ‘heavily market’.  The company may also use its LinkedIn page, which has 1057 connections.

She added that there could also be advertising on the London Tube, and through its partnership with Out magazine.

It's really bad to know about the rising discrimination against redheads. Though they don't deserve it, redheads are often given a bad reputation for no purpose at all. Just recently, Danish sperm bank no longer takes donations from redheads. Red-haired contributors were recently told they were no longer accepted at the world's biggest sperm bank, and red head discrimination could be an actual phenomenon. Sad to admit but that's the truth. I just hope for fairness between all individuals because we are all created equal so let's treat everyone fairly.
