The Royal Mail has announced that every British Olympic victory at the London 2012 games will be celebrated with a special gold medal stamp.
Details of the actual designs themselves are set to be announced later, although it was been said that stamps will be created for both individual and team wins.
Last week, the Royal Mail revealed the first ten of thirty Olympic and Paralympic first class stamps which will be available to the public.
Stephen Agar, director of regulated business at the Royal Mail, said: “We hope that we will be printing many sets, just as the nation hopes that it will be celebrating many victories next summer.”
