Sterling Furniture summer campaign aims to highlight online purchasing

A campaign to promote Sterling Furniture’s Summer range has been launched.

Created by The Union, the campaign is running across TV, print and billboards, with a new style aiming to reinforce the company’s promise that it offers everything for the house and home, including on-trend furniture and home accessories to cookware and gardening equipment.

The online purchasing capability offered by the brand is also prominent within the campaign.

“We wanted to generate awareness that Sterling offers much more than furniture, and - without alienating their existing customer base - appeal to a younger and broader audience. A highly technical shoot, the commercial features a young couple in an open-plan apartment typing away on a laptop, whilst a wide selection of furniture, furnishings and accessories appear around them to create a complete home,” explained Sarah Guild, account director for The Union.

Creative on the campaign was overseen by Ruth Yee and Martin Hartley, with production on the TV campaign undertaken by MTP, and directed by Martin Wedderburn.
