Equator has launched a fully redesigned site for one of the UK’s top health insurance intermediaries – The Health Insurance Group.

Following the development of a new brand identity, The Health Insurance Group which has over £75m annual premium under management, appointed Glasgow-based Equator to redesign the site.

“The Health Insurance Group offers a bespoke service, brokering health insurance plans from leading providers of private medical insurance to meet your individual needs. However, this personalised service wasn’t clear within the old site and we really wanted to emphasise it as a key factor within the redesign in order to increase the number of enquiries that the site delivers” says James Jefferson, creative director at Equator.

“A fundamental part of our redesign was carrying out a marketing review before starting creative work. This meant that we worked closely with our marketing team to design the new site to be fully search engine optimised in order to deliver an increase in high quality enquiries via PPC and SEO from launch. Creating a clear goal orientated site architecture and a more approachable, customer focused site was really important to help drive the enquiries and build a sense of trust and authority in the site amongst prospects and existing customers in keeping with the brand’s position in the market place.”

In addition to carrying out the redesign of the customer facing site, Equator also redesigned The Health Insurance Group Advisor Assistance site in order to provide greater support and information to The Health Insurance Group’s nationwide network of Advisors.

Having looked at the site, this is what happens when clients don't allocate enough/any of the budget for imagery and need to resort to cliched stock shots.
