I think there are some really nice pieces of work, but I have to say the Road Safety 'Drop' ambient is an absolute joke! Chip Shop at its best.

Who was the 'Drop' ambient aimed at? Speeding cat burglars? Folk contemplating suicide? Surely the point of ambient is to be seen? Very odd indeed.

We have spoken with the agency that submitted Knives. Last year it was in the viral category and judged with other virals. Over the past year it was broadcast in cinemas which makes it eligible within this category.

Anyone else not notice that a press or poster campaign is now two or more executions, not three or more? I know two has always been the case on TV but didn't realise two was enough for a campaign in the other categories. Some nice work here though.

There are some great creative agencies in Scotland, doing inspiring work around the world eg Graphical House in Glasgow recently produced a fabulous job for Channel 4. Unfortunately it is now the case that entering these awards is a big fat advert telling the world that you're desperate and therefore it's fair game to slag off the work.

So now that 'Knives' is in a different category it's deemed new creative?
A cheap shot from the agency and not acceptable.

No nominations, just lots of happy clients. Salary increases, paid overtime and xmas bonuses, boring stuff like that. Enjoy your ego.
