Newcastle City Council to review design framework

Newcastle City Council is to seek the services of a design agencies to handle both corporate design and creative design duties.

A tender process will see up to eight agencies appointed to a two-year-contract, estimated to be worth around £870,000 across two lots.

The contract is for two lots will be for Standard Corporate Design and Creative Design, and could be extended by 12 months following a review.

Lot 1, for standard corporate design, will see the appointed agencies offer graphic design services for standard corporate literature, following the council’s corporate identity protocol and brand, running across leaflets, flyers, booklets, brochures, newsletters, posters and other promotional material.

The budget for this lot will be £381,000.

Lot 2 for creative design services, will include web design and development, graphic design, multi-media development, advertising, public relations, brand development, and social marketing in-line with council branding.

The budget for this lot will be £489,000.

Expressions of interest should be made by 3 October.
