The Perle du lait(?) ad, with the women who search their slim mate's house to 'discover' her secret. She then reveals it's the yogurt. How we laughed (two seconds after our mouths moved though). I deliberately go out my way to avoid brands who haven't even got the common decency to make their ads in the language of the country they're running in. Colgate do it too. Fuckers.

Actually some of the badly-dubbed ads are more entertaining than the domestic stuff these days.

Furthermore, the 'creative offerings' of multinationals like Procter and Gamble are much more interesting when sourced from centres of creative excellence such as Germany and Austria.

The Haribo advert is a tour de grace. It looks dubbed, even though it was recorded in English. How did they do that?

I've a friend who's just moved to Germany and reports that all the English language film and TV is badly dubbed. So our continental friends are so totally used to this, it probably doesn't occur to them that we'd find it comical, strange or cheap.

Just a minute..where's that stupid rough Geordie tart Cheryl Cole telling us that she's 'worth it' in a posh voice...

What about that new BMW ad with the two brothers? Who seem, for some inexplicable reason, to be dubbed by the same voice actor, meaning you can't tell who'se talking when.
