Young animation introduces the Digital Fiction Factory

Manchester agency Young has created a short animated film to introduce the Digital Fiction Factory (DFF).

Based at MediaCityUK and in Liverpool, the DFF is a partnership between the BBC and Conker Media that will create and publish 'digital fiction events'.

These are effectively multi-layered stories that unfold across two or more platforms, such as TV, online and social media.

What is the DFF? from Young on Vimeo.

Young had two and a half weeks to create the animation. "The team took on board our brief and delivered a strong piece of work with a very tight turnaround," said the DFF's director of digital media, Lee Hardman.
