T-Mobile marketing head will not be replaced

Lysa Hardy, marketing head at T-Mobile, has announced that she is leaving the company after five years.

The vice president of T-Mobile propositions, who was behind the ‘Life is for sharing’ campaigns, announced her decision to Everything Everywhere, the owners of T-Mobile and Orange, last week.

The decision follows a restructure by Everything Everywhere CEO Olaf Swantee last month which saw the leadership team cut from 26 members to 10, with Pippa Dunn, previously vice president of Orange propositions, promoted to chief marketing officer for consumer for Everything Everywhere.

Dan Perlet, head of corporate communications at Everything Everywhere, told The Drum that Hardy, who has recently had a baby, is “not planning to come back at this juncture”, and her role will not be replaced.

Hardy does not have another job lined up, but is said to be considering looking for a job outside the mobile, and believe that now is the right time to leave the company, with T-Mobile and Orange integrating well since the merger.
