Anonymous, an unnamed band of online hacktivists, have announced that they are switching the focus of their targets from the likes of Sony and Scientology to instead concentrate on child pornography.

Their first target is Freedom Hosting, a firm which the hackers accuse of knowingly hosting such material – earning it the title of “#OpDarknet Enemy Number One”.

This distinction has seen pornographic links from its servers whilst all clients of Freedom Hosting have had their access blocked.

In a statement Anonymous said: “It does not matter who you are, if we find you to be hosting, promoting, or supporting child pornography, you will become a target.”
