The Lancashire Police has launched a new campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour, featuring a YouTube video of pensioners getting up to no good.
The video, posted by Oldskoolmassive7 and entitled ‘Epic! what we did last nite!’, aims to get across that anti-social behaviour isn’t funny. It will be used by the Safer Lancashire partnership.
Chief Supt Stuart Williams, lead on anti-social behaviour for the Safer Lancashire partnership, said: “This campaign is designed to be creative and thought-provoking whilst getting a very serious message across that actions have consequences.
“Anti-social behaviour is just not funny at any age and it won’t be tolerated in Lancashire.
“Tackling anti-social behaviour is a key priority for partner agencies in the county. We want people to take a fresh look at their own behaviour and, where necessary, make changes.
“Committing anti-social behaviour may result in the police taking action. Those responsible could receive a criminal record which could seriously affect their future. ASBOs will also be used and, in serious cases, offenders could be sent to prison.”
