Alan MacKenzie, head of customer communications for Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks has been named as chair of Marketing Society Scotland.

MacKenzie will take on the role for two years from Vets Now managing director Glen Gribbon, alongside Helen Campbell, head of UK & Ireland marketing at VisitScotland, who will act as vice chair.

Graeme Atha, director of Marketing Society Scotland, commented: “I am thrilled that Alan and Helen will be taking on the roles of chair and vice Chair. I will be working closely with them both over the next few months to agree the Marketing Society Scotland plans for 2012.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Glen for his significant contribution in his role of chair. Glen has helped us to develop an inspiring vision for the Society in Scotland in building a world class marketing community and has helped ensure wide ranging support from the business community in Scotland.”
