Liverpool’s Commercial District Partnership has appointed Kenyon Fraser to undertake its marketing and PR following a competitive tender process.
The appointment follows the Partnership having secured Business Improvement District (BID) status following a ballot held in May, with the body now embarking on a £3m programme delivering a range of additional services designed to enhance the area, maximise trading opportunities, and help secure additional inward investment.
Chief executive Paul Rice said: “Securing the ‘yes’ vote transformed opportunities for the Commercial District and we now have some very ambitious plans to develop the area significantly over the next five years.
“It’s vital that all of this activity is communicated effectively to businesses within the city. It’s also crucial that businesses are given the opportunity to promote their successes and access support to help them progress.
“Kenyon Fraser is one of the largest and longest established integrated marketing communications consultancies in the region. Corporate director Geraldine Turner and her team proved they have the knowledge and strategic approach we need, as well as a strong reputation and the right skill sets and resources. I am confident they will deliver great results.”
Richard Kenyon, Kenyon Fraser ‘s managing director, said: “We are delighted to have secured such a prestigious and exciting client and look forward to making a real difference to both the Partnership and the many businesses within the Commercial District.”
