The Skinny magazine is launching a virtual enterprise through CultureLabel, supported by Creative Scotland through the Own Art scheme.

The enterprise allows the public to buy limited edition artworks by emerging Scottish artists, with the option of spreading the cost interest-free.

Rosamund West, editor of The Skinny, said: “The concept behind the scheme is to make exciting art more accessible and affordable. We’re aiming to make it easier for people to own the art that they love.”

Peter Tullin, managing partner and co-founder of CultureLabel, said: "We are really excited about working with The Skinny and Creative Scotland to create an online platform for new inspiring artists. The collection features some truly brilliant limited editions and at really affordable price points, making it very accessible to everyone.”

The first collection of prints presents seven Scottish artists who have made works in painting, printmaking, photography, illustration, collage and graphic design: David Lemm, Good Wives and Warriors, Jamie Johnson Markus Thorsen, Rabiya Choudhry, Rachel MacLean and Ross Fraser McLean.
