Clintons has launched a digital campaign with Speed offering consumers the chance to have their ‘best ever Christmas’ wish come true.

Driven via a Facebook app, created by Finer Vision, the competition asks users to share the Christmas wish that would make it the best ever for them or someone they know.

The campaign is being promoted until 11 December with an online video trailer, radio campaign, a research-based story revealing the nation’s confusion around the meaning of Christmas and what makes it special, and a proactive product placement programme.

One winner will be chosen at random from the entries and Clintons will make their wish come true. Continual spot prizes are being rewarded to encourage people to make a return visit and conversation around the entries and theme are being driven via a mix of social media channels.

Tim Fairs, Clintons marketing director, said: “We wanted a compelling campaign that allowed us to give something back to our loyal customers, whilst introducing our offering to new ones.

“This is the first year we’re including personalisation into our Christmas card offering, which we anticipate will make up 50 per cent of online card sales. This campaign plays a role in helping to drive awareness of that.”
